Osteopath D.O. — field reference for product requirements
Léa Licha-Bensoussan is a qualified osteopath and co-founder of PratiConnect. She brought the project to life with her mother Joëlle, herself a practitioner who retrained in alternative medicine.
The origin is very concrete: between appointments booked on Doctolib but copied over to Google Calendar, patient files kept in Excel, session notes written by hand, and billing patched together in a third tool, Léa and Joëlle ended up counting — not in hours, but in evenings per week — the time wasted bridging tools that don't talk to each other.
No vendor offers a platform built for their work. Market solutions are calibrated for conventional, reimbursed medicine: 15-minute slots, billing codes, claim transmission. Nothing for long consultations, for the discipline-specific anamnesis forms, for multi-month therapeutic goal tracking, for the electronic signature of informed consent. And certainly nothing for the cross-disciplinary management of a practice shared between several specialties.
At PratiConnect, Léa owns the relevance of the osteopathy, kinesiology, sophrology and manual therapy modules. She validates every screen, every anamnesis field, every progress score against what she'd want to use in her own practice. During the eighteen months of development, she tested every iteration, collected feedback from the ten beta practitioners, and made the product calls that make the difference between a decent tool and a tool that works day in, day out.
She brings to the project a clinical rigor that no developer, however good, can produce alone: the conviction that anything not tested in a real consultation isn't really finished.
