Presentation

Chakra therapy is an integrative energy rebalancing approach based on the chakra system from Hindu and tantric tradition. The word 'chakra' means 'wheel' or 'circle' in Sanskrit. These energy centers, located along the spine, are considered vortexes of vital energy (prana) regulating energy flow between physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies.

The Seven Main Chakras

  • 2. Svadhisthana (Sacral): Below navel — creativity, emotions, sexuality. Color: orange. Element: water. Note: D. Stone: carnelian
  • 3. Manipura (Solar Plexus): Stomach — will, personal power, self-esteem. Color: yellow. Element: fire. Note: E. Stone: citrine
  • 4. Anahata (Heart): Center of chest — love, compassion, forgiveness. Color: green/pink. Element: air. Note: F. Stone: rose quartz, aventurine
  • 5. Vishuddha (Throat): Throat — communication, expression, truth. Color: blue. Element: ether. Note: G. Stone: lapis lazuli, turquoise
  • 6. Ajna (Third Eye): Forehead, between eyebrows — intuition, inner vision, wisdom. Color: indigo. Note: A. Stone: sodalite, amethyst
