- Standing ou assis, haltères le long du corps
- Lever les bras latéralement jusqu'à l'horizontale
- Coudes légèrement fléchis, pouce légèrement vers le bas (« verser de l'eau »)
- Descendre contrôlé, ne pas dépasser l'horizontale
