Stress, chronic fatigue, emotional blocks? Kinesiology can help
Muscle testing reveals what words cannot express
What is kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a wellness method that uses muscle testing as a communication tool with the body. Developed in the 1960s by American chiropractor George Goodheart, it is based on the principle that the body stores all our experiences, positive and negative, and that these memories can influence our physical and emotional health.
Muscle testing involves applying light pressure to a muscle, usually the arm, to observe its response. A muscle that "gives way" under pressure may indicate stress related to an emotion, limiting belief, or energy imbalance. The kinesiologist uses this body feedback to identify sources of stress and apply appropriate corrections.
Kinesiology integrates knowledge from traditional Chinese medicine (acupuncture meridians), chiropractic, and psychology. It does not make medical diagnoses but seeks to identify and remove blockages that prevent a person from reaching their full potential.

How does a session work?
A kinesiology session typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. It begins with an interview where the kinesiologist listens to your issues, goals, and gathers information about your personal history. This step establishes a clear and measurable "session objective."
The work continues with muscle testing. You are usually lying down or sitting, and the practitioner tests your arm resistance while asking questions or having you think about certain situations. Variations in muscle tone help identify stresses and associated emotions.
Once blocks are identified, the kinesiologist uses various correction techniques: acupressure point stimulation, eye movements, visualizations, positive affirmations, or emotional release techniques. Each correction is validated by a new muscle test.
The session ends with an assessment and advice to anchor changes in daily life. The number of sessions varies depending on the issues, but effects can be felt from the first consultation.

Benefits of kinesiology
Kinesiology can bring benefits in many areas of life. Emotionally, it helps release suppressed emotions, overcome past traumas, and reduce stress and anxiety. Many people report a feeling of lightness and liberation after a session.
Physically, by releasing emotional tensions, kinesiology can help relieve certain ailments: muscle tension, sleep disorders, chronic fatigue. Since body and mind are interconnected, acting on one often benefits the other.
Kinesiology is also used to improve performance: academic (concentration, memorization, exam stress), sports (mental preparation, pressure management), or professional (self-confidence, public speaking).
It also helps identify and transform limiting beliefs that prevent us from moving forward: "I'm not capable," "I don't deserve success," etc. By releasing these unconscious patterns, kinesiology opens the way to new possibilities.

What issues can be addressed?
Kinesiology can accompany many issues. Stress and anxiety are among the most common reasons for consultation. Kinesiology helps identify sources of stress, release accumulated tensions, and regain a state of inner calm.
Emotional difficulties such as fears, phobias, traumas, grief, or separations can be addressed in kinesiology. The method allows releasing blocked emotions and transforming negative patterns.
Learning disorders and academic difficulties often benefit from kinesiology: dyslexia, attention disorders, exam stress, lack of confidence. Specific techniques like Brain Gym help optimize learning abilities.
Kinesiology also accompanies major life changes: career transition, moving, birth of a child. It can help clarify goals, remove barriers to change, and mobilize resources.
Finally, it is used to improve sports or artistic performance by working on stress management, self-confidence, and concentration.

Training and qualifications
Kinesiology is not a regulated profession in France, which makes the choice of a well-trained practitioner all the more important. Serious training programs typically last 2 to 3 years and include several hundred hours of theoretical and practical courses.
The main professional federations (French Federation of Kinesiology, National Union of Kinesiologists) impose strict criteria on their members: complete training, supervision, code of ethics, mandatory continuing education.
A qualified kinesiologist must master several branches of kinesiology: Touch for Health, Three in One Concepts, Brain Gym, educational kinesiology. Each branch brings specific tools for different issues.
It is recommended to choose a kinesiologist affiliated with a professional federation, who clearly displays their training and ethical commitment. A good practitioner explains their method, does not make unrealistic promises, and refers you to a healthcare professional if necessary.
