Nadi Pariksha is the most refined and respected diagnostic method in Ayurveda. The experienced practitioner can perceive, through radial pulse subtleties, the state of three doshas, seven dhatus functioning, Agni state, Ama presence, and even hereditary predispositions. Classic texts describe each dosha's pulse with animal metaphors: Vata pulses like a snake, Pitta like a frog, Kapha like a swan.
