Stairmaster: Endless Stair Climbing

The stairmaster simulates continuous stair climbing. It is one of the most effective machines for burning calories while sculpting glutes and quadriceps.

Execution

  1. Back straight, hands lightly on side rails for balance only.
  2. Do not lean heavily on handles.
  3. Regular cadence, constant and controlled.
  4. Full foot on each step to engage glutes.

Duration

20 to 40 minutes.

Variations

  • Side step: turn sideways for abductors.
  • Skip step: skip every other step.
  • HIIT: 1 min fast / 1 min slow x 10.
