Webster Technique — Obstetric Chiropractic
Chiropractic technique specifically developed for pregnant women by Larry Webster, aimed at reducing sacral dysfunction and uterine ligament tension to facilitate optimal fetal positioning.
Presentation
The Webster Technique was developed by Dr. Larry Webster (1945–1997), founder of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Following the premature birth of his own baby, he observed that certain sacral adjustments in pregnant women could encourage spontaneous rotation of breech babies. The technique is now taught by the ICPA and used by chiropractors specializing in pregnancy care.
