Respiratory physiotherapy is a physiotherapy specialty dedicated to treating lung conditions and ventilation disorders. It includes active techniques (breathing exercises, incentive spirometry) and passive techniques (percussion, postural drainage, manual clearance) to help patients expectorate bronchial secretions and improve gas exchange.

Contraindications
- Active hemoptysis
- Undrained pneumothorax
- Hemodynamic instability
- Fractured ribs (percussion)
- Intracranial hypertension (certain positions)
