Pettibon System — Chiropractic Spinal Remodeling

Presentation

The Pettibon System was developed by Burl R. Pettibon, DC (1932–2019), an American chiropractor from Washington State. Pettibon developed his method from the 1960s, dissatisfied with long-term results of conventional chiropractic approaches. He conducted biomechanical research on mechanisms of vertebral deformation and correction, resulting in an integrated diagnostic and treatment system.

The Pettibon System rests on the theory that vertebral subluxation is not an isolated phenomenon but an adaptive structural deformation of the entire spine, requiring long-term active and passive remodeling.
