Pediatric Tuina (Xiao Er Tuina)
Pediatric Tuina is a therapeutic massage system specific to children aged 0–7, using pediatric-specific points and techniques to treat digestive, respiratory and immune disorders.

Pediatric Tuina (小儿推拿) is a unique TCM specialty developed specifically for infants and children aged 0–7. It uses therapeutic points and zones that do not exist in adults — notably massage lines and surfaces on fingers, hands and forearms — whose effectiveness decreases after age 7 as the adult meridian system stabilizes.

- Pediatric-specific points: lines and surfaces unique to children, mainly on fingers and hands.
- Direction determines effect: pushing toward fingers = dispersing; toward wrist = tonifying.
- Pediatric TCM physiology: child has pure but fragile Qi, immature Spleen.
- Rapid response: children respond faster than adults, often in 1–3 sessions.

Session Overview
Child sits comfortably, often on parent's lap. Gentle, rapid, rhythmic techniques: circular friction on palm, linear pushing on fingers, light abdominal kneading. 100–300 repetitions per point. Duration: 15–20 minutes maximum.
