Presentation
Cupping therapy is an ancient therapeutic practice present in many cultures: Traditional Chinese Medicine (Ba Guan 拔罐), Arabic medicine (Hijama — cupping with scarification), Ayurvedic medicine and Greek Hippocratic medicine. The technique uses cups (glass, plastic, silicone, bamboo) creating suction (vacuum) on the skin to 'draw up' tissues, improve microcirculation and release myofascial restrictions.
