Liu Zi Jue (ĺ…ĺ—诀, 'Six Healing Sounds') is a therapeutic breathing Qi Gong originating from Taoist physician Tao Hongjing (456–536 CE). Each internal organ resonates with a specific sound; controlled emission during exhalation regulates and purifies the corresponding organ.
Core Principles
- Xu — Liver: calms Liver, releases anger.
- He — Heart: purifies Heart, calms agitation.
- Hu — Spleen: strengthens Spleen, improves digestion.
- Si — Lung: purifies Lungs, releases grief.
- Chui — Kidney: nourishes Kidneys, strengthens lower back.
- Xi — Triple Burner: harmonizes three burners.
