Yang Style Tai Chi
Yang style Tai Chi is the most widely practiced style worldwide, characterized by its broad, fluid and slow movements, particularly suited for health and chronic disease prevention.

Yang style Tai Chi (杨式太极拳) is the most widespread Tai Chi style, practiced by tens of millions worldwide. Founded by Yang Luchan (1799–1872) and refined by his grandson Yang Chengfu (1883–1936). It is one of the most scientifically studied body practices with hundreds of controlled trials demonstrating benefits on balance, falls, osteoarthritis, hypertension and mental health.

Session Overview

Contraindications
- Very few (adaptable practice)
- Severe knee pain: adapt posture depth
- Severe vertigo: practice near support
