Presentation

Chromotherapy (or color therapy) is a healing method using the therapeutic properties of visible light spectrum colors. Each color corresponds to a specific wavelength and vibrational frequency that interacts with cells and body systems. Therapeutic use of colors dates back to ancient Egypt, where chromotherapy rooms were integrated into healing temples, and ancient Greece with Hippocrates.

Core Principles

  • Red (620-750 nm): Stimulating, tonifying, activates blood circulation
  • Orange (590-620 nm): Anti-spasmodic, promotes digestion, stimulates creativity
  • Yellow (570-590 nm): Brain stimulant, depurative, activates lymphatic system
  • Green (495-570 nm): Balancing, soothing, nerve system regulator
  • Blue (450-495 nm): Calming, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory
  • Indigo (420-450 nm): Deep sedative, mild anesthetic, blood purifier
  • Violet (380-420 nm): Spiritual, transformative, pineal gland stimulant
