Fasciatherapy — Danis Bois Method
Therapeutic and pedagogical approach developed by Danis Bois combining very gentle manual contact on fascia with listening to the body's internal movement (sensorial movement) to treat chronic pain and somatopsychic disorders.
Presentation
Fasciatherapy Danis Bois Method (FDB) is an approach developed since the 1980s by Danis Bois, a French physiotherapist and osteopath with a doctorate in education sciences. Derived from fascial osteopathy, it developed its own concepts around the notion of the body's 'internal movement' and 'point of appui' — a contact quality that suspends tissues and fosters their spontaneous reorganization.
