Thai massage (Nuad Bo-Rarn — 'ancient sacred touch') is a 2,500-year-old therapeutic practice attributed to Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, the Buddha's personal physician according to tradition. UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2019. It combines elements of Indian Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, yoga and Thai acupressure on Sen (Thai energy lines).
