The seasonal cure is a preventive naturopathic program that follows natural biological rhythms. Each season imposes specific constraints on the organism and offers particular opportunities for cleansing, strengthening or regeneration. Traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda and European naturopathy converge on the importance of these seasonal cycles for maintaining optimal health.
Spring: The Great Detoxification
Spring is the ideal season for detoxification. The organism emerges from winter with accumulated overloads (richer diet, sedentary lifestyle). Spring's rising energy naturally supports elimination processes. The spring protocol includes: birch sap cure (3 weeks, 150 ml/day fasting), hepatic drainage with bitter plants (artichoke, black radish, dandelion), 1-3 day mono-diet (grapes, brown rice or apple), progressive resumption of outdoor physical activity, introduction of spring foods (young shoots, asparagus, wild garlic, nettles). Recommended duration is 3-4 weeks.
Summer: Vitalization
Summer is the season of maximum energy, ideal for revitalizing through sun, fresh air and living foods.
