Naturopathic Cures (Detox, Revitalization, Stabilization)
The three fundamental naturopathic cures — detoxification, revitalization and stabilization — forming the sequential protocol for rebalancing the biological terrain.
Presentation
Naturopathic cures form a coherent therapeutic triptych designed to restore biological terrain balance through a logical progression. The detoxification cure aims to free the organism from its humoral overloads. The revitalization cure fills deficiencies and restores vital energy. The stabilization cure maintains the achieved balance long-term. This protocol is personalized based on the vitality assessment and adapted to the client's available vital force.
Detoxification Cure
The detox cure is the first step in most cases. It aims to drain the emunctories (elimination organs) and reduce accumulated toxinic and toxic overloads. The main emunctories are the liver (via bile), kidneys (via urine), intestines (via stool), lungs (via exhalation) and skin (via perspiration). The cure uses drainage plants (artichoke, black radish, dandelion for the liver; orthosiphon, pilosella for kidneys; buckthorn, psyllium for intestines), hydrological techniques (hyperthermic baths, sauna, steam bath), mono-diets (grape, rice, apple) and aerobic exercise to stimulate elimination. Duration varies from 7 to 21 days depending on overload level.
Contraindications: very low vital force, pregnancy, malnutrition, severe renal or hepatic conditions, children.
Revitalization Cure
After the cleansing phase, the revitalization cure aims to recharge the organism with essential nutrients and restore vital energy. It uses hyper-vitalizing nutrition (fresh vegetable juices, superfoods, sprouted seeds), targeted nutritional supplements (vitamins, minerals, trace elements, essential fatty acids), adaptogenic phytotherapy (ginseng, rhodiola, ashwagandha, eleutherococcus), revitalizing baths (thalassotherapy, algae baths, sun baths) and relaxation techniques to promote assimilation. This cure generally lasts 4 to 12 weeks.
Stabilization Cure
The stabilization cure is the maintenance phase. It anchors new habits into daily life and prevents imbalance recurrence. It relies on maintaining a balanced, personalized diet, a regular exercise program, ongoing stress management, preventive seasonal cures (spring detox, autumn revitalization) and regular naturopathic follow-up (1-4 consultations per year). This phase is unlimited in time — it is a lifestyle.
Precautions
Every cure must be adapted to the client's vital force. An exhausted organism cannot withstand intensive detox — revitalization must come first. The naturopath continuously evaluates elimination capacity and adjusts cure intensity. Elimination reactions (healing crisis) are normal but must be monitored. All cures must be compatible with ongoing medical treatments.
